Yellow Rocket Concepts Celebrates New Flagship Location with Community-Focused Fundraising Success
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS — August 28, 2026 — Yellow Rocket Concepts is pleased to announce that Local Lime raised $16,500 for the Arkansas Foodbank during a series of training services before opening their new flagship location, just doors down from their original location in West Little Rock, Ark. The successful fundraising initiative underscores the brand's commitment to partnering with community leaders and supporting vibrant food systems in the communities where they do business. Local Lime first opened its doors in 2012 in the Promenade at Chenal and recently moved to a newly renovated location within the shopping center. Before opening to the general public, Local Lime hosted ticketed previews for select friends, family, and community partners to give their staff a chance to adjust to the new space. The preview services combined celebration and purpose, with proceeds from tickets and food & beverage sales from three different dining experiences benefiting the Arkansas Foodbank's mission to combat food insecurity across the state.
"We wanted to make Local Lime's move to this new space meaningful, not just for our business and customers but for the greater community that has supported us from the start. Partnering with Arkansas Foodbank felt like the natural choice. Ultimately, what we always return to as a company is hospitality – the desire to feed and nurture people. It’s just such a natural fit with the Arkansas Foodbank and the vital work they do." — Amber Brewer, Chief Marketing Officer and one of the founding partners of Local Lime.
Yellow Rocket Concepts has long partnered with the Foodbank on various projects and fundraising efforts in the past, and earlier in 2026, Yellow Rocket employees took part in a company-wide service day where several employees at all levels of the organization volunteered at the Foodbank.
"We are so thankful to the Local Lime and Yellow Rocket Concept teams for inviting us to be part of their special day. It is an honor to work with an organization so deeply committed to serving central Arkansas. In fact, through this donation alone, we will be able to provide 82,500 meals to neighbors in need!" — Lauryn Durby, Community Engagement Coordinator, Arkansas Foodbank.
